Following a cracking start to 2019‚ hedgehog lab is thrilled to reveal that we’ve been recognised in two prestigious industry rankings this week by Prolific North and GP Bullhound.

Up first was the Northern Tech Awards 2019 where hedgehog lab featured in the list of Top 100 fastest growing technology companies in the North for the third year running.

The list‚ which ranks the North’s fastest growing tech companies based on revenue‚ placed us 39th amongst some big names including Music Magpie‚ Pharmacy2U and The Hut Group with this year’s rankings unveiled at a glitzy ceremony held at the Albert Hall in Manchester.

Launched in 2011 by tech investment bank GP Bullhound‚ the Northern Tech Awards aim to shine a light on the biggest and most promising tech firms in the North of England and Scotland with its list taking into account revenue growth from the last three years.

Hot on the heels of our latest ranking in the Northern Tech Awards‚ hedgehog lab were also recognised in Prolific North’s YouGov-sponsored list of the Top 50 Digital Agencies which it compiled in conjunction with Manchester-based research firm Mustard Research.

The list takes into account a range of independently verified metrics including turnover‚ pre-tax profit‚ headcount and growth to come up with its rankings‚ with hedgehog lab faring particularly well following a storming 2018.

Incorporating agencies of all shapes and sizes‚ including mobile‚ PPC‚ SEO‚ web‚ content and e-commerce‚ this year’s list saw us improve of last year’s rankings by 17 places‚ with us ranking 26th overall.

Following hedgehog lab’s strong showing‚ Chief Executive Officer‚ Sarat Pediredla‚ said: “It’s always edifying to see us recognised after all the hard-work‚ effort and talent our team has put into our projects over the last 12 months. So to be recognised twice in the same day is doubly edifying!”

“Both lists not only highlight the strength of our growth on all fronts over the last three years‚ they also emphasis the breadth and depth of great business that call the North of England and Scotland their home.”

“It’s not just about the North either. Many of the businesses featured on both lists‚ much like ourselves‚ are established global businesses who are flying the flag for the region and the UK as a whole around the world.”

“After another strong start to the year with a number of big customer wins‚ we eagerly await next year’s lists to see how we’ve improved on this year’s showing.”
