Flexible working hedgehog lab is embraced by recognising that all staff have different needs and that those needs can change.
Our culture is built on trust and autonomy: we want our staff to be happy and relaxed when working for hedgehog lab. We have dog-friendly offices in Newcastle, but moved to a remote-first approach as a result of the pandemic – most of our employees are happy to work from home! This also means that we’re open to and hire team members from all over the UK and beyond.
We can also offer excellent benefits, including flexible working, part-time contracts, unlimited annual leave, access to free therapy sessions and financial well-being services and enhanced parental leave.
Although different benefits apply to our international teams, for our UK-based team we offer 28 days of holiday plus bank holidays. Work-life balance is very important to refresh and ensure you are fully rested.

Mental health support
Mental health is extremely important to us. Our partner Spill is a Slack-integrated therapy app available to all our staff at no extra cost. Spill provides mental health support that our employees can use through their Slack.
